POSITION: ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER - LOCATION: CHESTFIELD NR. WHITSTABLE

The Role:

Based at our display showrooms at Johnsons Garden Centre, Chestfield, 2 miles from Whitstable and 6 miles from the city of Canterbury, your day to day responsibilities will be assisting the Branch Sales Manager to achieve branch sales targets whilst ensuring the highest standards of customer service are delivered.

This will include identifying and following up all sales opportunities, actively managing sales leads and reporting on all outcomes. This would be from the initial qualification of a customer’s requirements through to the provision of an estimate, arranging a home site visit for the Branch Manager and following up until completion.


Key Skills:

  • Sales experience is essential but full product training is given
  • Highly self-motivating individual who thrives on delivering the best customer service while achieving their set goals
  • Ability to work on your own initiative to achieve sales targets
  • Confident manner and ideally some experience in selling face to face.
  • Excellent time management
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Office


The Package:

  • £18,720 per annum plus uncapped commission O.T.E. £27,000
  • Full Time
  • Comprehensive induction and full product training given
